Members of the Warwick Valley Prevention Coalition were gratified by the out-pouring of support from community members for the “Break the Stigma” walk and celebration that took place on Sun., Jul. 29. Hundreds of people from all over Orange, Rockland, and Sullivan counties, as well as New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and other states joined forces to raise awareness that recovery from substance use disorder is possible.
The “Break the Stigma” sub-committee is especially grateful to our volunteers and sponsors, who made the whole thing possible by providing financial assistance, food or in-kind services.
