The first annual Winter Carnival will be coming to Greenwood Lake on Sat., Feb. 16 and Sun., Feb. 17. This two day event will be hosted by the Greenwood Lake Chamber Of Commerce and will be held at the Thomas P. Waterfront Park, located at 7 Windermere Avenue in G.L.
The weekend fun will kick off at 10 a.m. and end at 5 p.m. Admission is free and the event will be loaded with fun. Food and beverages will be available on site for purchase by local vendors. Outdoor events and contests include snow tubing, ice racing, snowman making contests, (weather permitting), and a corn hole tournament. Family fun crafts and a warm tent will be open to keep visitors cozy and busy.
The fifth annual “Go Jump in the Lake” Polar Plunge, sponsored by the Warwick Valley Humane Society, will begin at 3 p.m.
Get your snowsuits ready and come out and join in the fun.
