The next Warwick Repair Café will be held today, Sat., May 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Warwick Senior Center, located at 132 Kings Hwy. in Warwick. This event is open to all. Attendees are asked to bring a donation (box or can) for the food pantry.
Attendees can bring broken items, with a limit of two per person, to be fixed for free by repair coaches. Items accepted include mechanical and electrical items; laptops, tablets, and cell phones; bikes; jewelry; wooden things; clothing; home textiles; soft toys; and knife and tool sharpening. There is a charge for lamp and bike parts at cost. There will also be an adult-supervised kids-take-apart table.
