Turn the Towns Teal is an awareness program dedicated to educating women about the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer. Awareness is important because there is no test for Ovarian cancer.
This year, four enthusiastic young medical students, Aleksandr Abakulov, Joe Mcgann, Christopher Rohner and Vaibhav Shah, from Touro College, Class of 2021 volunteered to help hang the bows in the Village of Warwick, along with the coordinator and ovarian cancer survivor Kathy Colquhoun and her husband, Greg. Many other people gave their time and energy and are a part of making this a truly successful campaign.
Coordinator Kathy Colquhoun thanks Mayor Michael Newhard and the Village of Warwick Board for their enthusiasm and encouragement for the program every year.
