On Wed., Dec. 13, Warwick Police arrested Debby Lowe, 46, of Newburgh, NY, and charged her with eight counts of grand larceny, felonies, and one count of petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
According to Lt. Thomas Maslanka, during a six-month period that Lowe was an employee of “The Maids” cleaning service, she stole valuables from the residences she was working in and sold them at a local pawn shop. Lt. Maslanka stated that several of these larcenies were unreported for some time by Warwick residents because the items stolen were valuables and not every day use items.
The New York State Police and the Village of Florida Police assisted the Warwick Police Dept. in the investigation, which is still on going. Meanwhile, Lowe was arraigned by Warwick Town Justice Peter Barlet and sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
