The Seligmann Homestead, located at 23 White Oak Dr. in Sugar Loaf, will present the third annual DUSKLIT Interactive Art Festival on Sat., Aug. 11 from 6 to 10 p.m. DUSKLIT is a one night interactive art festival with twilight as a backdrop. This year the festival will feature 38 immersive experiences by 64 contemporary artists from across the U.S. and Canada. The festival is curated by visual artists Olivia Baldwin and Cody Rounds.
DUSKLIT 2018 features participatory projects including elaborate sensory environments, sound installations, and a costume-lending tent. By engaging in these installations, visitors join the festival as an essential collaborative element, bringing DUSKLIT to life. The festival’s 2018 roster includes performance art, new media, music, dance, poetry, interdisciplinary collaborations, and roving projects.
The festival will take place rain or shine. General admission is $15 with discounted rates for children 12 and under. To purchase tickets visit www.dusklit.brownpapertickets.com.
