Summer sweet tooth spoiler alert: The Edenville General Store, located at 240 Pine Island Tpke. in Warwick, is now selling homemade ice cream. With about 12 different flavors to choose from, customers can enjoy a variety of sizes that will be available year round.
“It’s a fun addition, a nice dessert offering, and it’s really taking off,” commented owner Deb Walters, who began purchasing the homemade scoops from Dairy Swirl in Vernon, NJ in April.
Dairy Swirl utilizes local ingredients in their in house creations, which range from sorbets and pies to Italian ices and soft serve yogurts.
“I was very impressed by the creaminess and the fresh taste,” said Deb, whose fave flave is the coffee ice cream made with real coffee.
Dairy Swirl business owner, Roman Czerhoniak, who has worked in his family business for more than 30 years, said, “The Edenville General Store is a great local place and everyone’s raving about their BBQ. I think the ice cream is going to be great for the store.”
Deb Walters urges customers to stop in and grab some icey goodness served up by the “Scoop Gals” from their brand new freezers.
