The Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame, located at 240 Main St. in Goshen NY, will host a presentation and hands on activities on Sun., Dec. 9 from 1 to 3 p.m. to help guests understand the effects of winter weather on horses and other animals exposed to the elements. Visitors will participate in experiments which demonstrate the stress that cold, wet weather may impose on animals and humans alike. All are invited to bring a model horse and design and make a felt horse blanket. All materials will be provided.
