Ralph Wolckenhauer, the owner of Sneakers to Boots, located at 314 Rte. 94 in Warwick, played a vital role in the success of the 2018 Warwick Holiday Project for Needy Children and their families.
Marge King-Porter, Warwick Rotary Chair for the Holiday Project for Needy Children, thanked Wolckenhauer for his contribution of 75 quality, name-brand sneakers and shoes to the Dec. 8 project, which was held in conjunction with the Warwick Lions Club at the Warwick Reformed Church.
King-Porter, recently honored as a Warwick Outstanding Community Service Award winner, also recognized Linda and Mark Stephan for their contribution of a $25 ShopRite gift card to the family of each child participating in the event.
“These valued gifts, plus the individual sponsorship of a child, put much-needed smiles on the faces of underprivileged members of our Town,” said King-Porter, adding, “We are fortunate to have these giving members in our community.”
