Pacem in Terris, located at 96 Covered Bridge Rd. in Warwick NY, will present the first concert of the season on Sun., Jun. 24 at 5 p.m. The concert will feature the return of the Manhattan Chamber Players.
The concert, which will feature the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ernő Dohnányi and François Devienne, will open with Mozart’s A major flute quartet and conclude with the D major quartet. In between there will be a transition from 20th century Hungary to 18th century France.
The Manhattan Chamber Players are a chamber music collective of New York-based musicians who share the common aim of performing the greatest works in the chamber repertoire at the highest level.
Pacem in Terris is a not-for-profit organization under the Education Laws of the State of New York. No reservations are available. Tickets will go on sale at 4 p.m. on site, rain or shine. There is a suggested donation of $15 per person.
