The Greenwood Lake Public Library, located at 79 Waterstone Rd. in Greenwood Lake, will present a workshop led by Jody Pepe on Sat., Nov. 10 for children ages four to nine on how to make an Emoji Pillow. Pepe, crafter and owner of Bottoms Up Creations will teach participants how to create a fun, no-sew emoji pillow using a felt and knotting technique, as well as fabric glue.
Pepe will also be in-house to instruct a four-week Sewing Workshop for young adults from ages 10 to 17. The program is set to run on Tuesdays in November from 5 to 6 p.m. Beginning Tues., Nov. 6, Jody will teach several different sewing techniques, creating a beautiful tote bag by the end of the sessions. Participants will also learn how to create unique flowers out of colorful felt and hand sew them on their bags for a personalized touch.
