The Hoboken International Film Festival (HIFF) has announced its movie lineup for the 2019 Festival. The film festival will be held from Fri., May 17 through Thurs., May 23 at the Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park, located at 7 Windermere Ave. in Greenwood Lake.
Stars of the 2019 HIFF officially selected movies include numerous award-winning and fan-favorite actors including Academy Award nominees Randy Quaid, Burt Young, Eric Roberts, and Danny Aiello.
Stars who have committed to attending the festival include Martin Kove (The Karate Kid; Rambo, Cobra Kai), Danny Aiello (Moonstruck), Burt Young (Rocky), Gilbert Gottfried (Aladdin; Problem Child), Jason London (Dazed and Confused; The Man in the Moon), Joyce DeWitt (“Three’s Company”), Julie McCullough (“Growing Pains”), Scott Schwartz (A Christmas Story), Judie Aaronson (Weird Science), Jackie Martling (“The Howard Stern Show”), and Gena Lee Nolin (“Baywatch), Caitlin Carmichael (“Dwight in Shining Armor”), and Daniel Baldwin (“Cold Case”).
The festival wraps on Thurs., May 23 with its signature Gala Awards Ceremony where the 2019 HIFF Excellence in Acting Award will be personally accepted by famed actor Jason London (Dazed and Confused; The Man on the Moon). This red carpet event features an Oscars-style ceremony, hosted by stand-up comedian Gilbert Gottfried.
Opening Night and the Gala Awards Ceremony are held at Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park. Movie screenings are held at the waterfront park as well as the lakefront restaurant Cove Castle and the historic Elks Lodge.
