Unfortunately, with this spring-like weather we’re having, the organizers for the 2019 Winter Classic Hockey Tournament felt the ice would not be safe enough for the event. Let’s hope for more ice next year!
Thankfully, however, the Chamber’s Winter Carnival is not ice dependent – although we are hoping for good ice over President’s Day weekend. The two-day festival will take place at the Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park over President’s Day Weekend, Sat., Feb. 16 and Sun., Feb. 17. There will be food, beer, heated tents, and entertainment for ALL ages. If you would like to volunteer or get involved in this event, please reach out to Jen Schneider at firstname.lastname@example.org.
