The Hoboken International Film Festival will again be bringing stars and entertainment to Greenwood Lake this year. The week long film festival will take place between Fri., May 18 and Thurs., May 24. The festival takes place at three locations throughout Greenwood Lake: Thomas Morahan Waterfront Park, Greenwood Lake Elks Lodge as well as the Cove Castle Restaurant on the East Shore of Greenwood Lake. The opening night of the festival takes place at the Waterfront Park on Fri., May 18 at 6:30 p.m. Some stars who will be present that evening are Louis Gossett, Jr. (Officer and a Gentleman), Tia Carrere (True Lies, Wayne’s World), Karen McCullah (writer of Legally Blind), Martin Cove (Rambo, Karate Kid) and many others. We are looking for a few volunteers for opening night on May 18 and for the Awards Gala on May 24. Volunteers receive 10 all access passes that they can give out to their friends and family and provide access to all festival activities throughout the week. If you would like to volunteer for the event, please email Mayor@villageofgreenwoodlake.com.
