The Warwick Valley High School Drama Club will present Billy St. John’s murder mystery, “Murder’s in the Heir,” on Thurs., Nov. 3, Fri., Nov. 4 and Sat., Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. at the high school, located at 89 Sanfordville Rd. in Warwick.
Almost every character in this hilarious mystery has the weapon like the board game Clue as well as the opportunity and motive to commit the unseen murder. The audience will be brought to the Starkweather Mansion to meet the greedy characters who have assembled for the reading of a will.
In classic murder mystery style, someone is soon murdered. The fun then begins as it will be up to the audience to decide “whodunit.” Utilizing a text messaging system, audience members will vote electronically for the suspect whom they think is the murderer. The show culminates with the character who receives the most votes that night being named the killer. Every performance could have a different ending. It’s audience participation at its best!
There will be no advance tickets sold for “Murder’s in the Heir.” Tickets will be available beginning one hour before curtain. Tickets are $8 general admission, and $6 for senior citizens and children ten and under. There will be a special “sneak preview” performance on Thurs., Nov. 3 with all tickets only $5.
