New York State Police in Monroe arrested Felipe Campos, 40, of Middletown, NY, on Wed., Feb. 27 for the 2003 murder of James Keating of Warwick.
On Mon., Feb. 4, 2003, when Keating, 55, did not show up for work at his Federal Express job in Mahwah, NJ, his employer notified the Warwick Police Department.
Officers arrived at Keating’s home on Union Corners Rd. to find his door ajar. Police stated that Keating was found dead in the bedroom of his home with multiple stab wounds.
According to State Police, Campos was identified as a suspect in the Keating murder after an extensive investigation that they conducted. He was charged with Murder 2nd Degree. Campos was arraigned in the Warwick Town Court and remanded to Orange County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
