Cristie Ranieri, the owner of the Tuscan Café, is seeking the safe return of a beloved painting that was stolen from the Café.
Ranieri noticed the painting was missing around 1 p.m. on Wed., Feb. 1 from the front bathroom of her restaurant that is located at 5 1/2 South St. in the Village of Warwick.
“We don’t need to know who took it or why,” said Ranieri. “We really just want it back.”
Ranieri requests that the person who took the painting to return it to the spot where it was taken or even place the painting, which has great sentimental value to her, on the front porch of the Café.
If anyone has information they can call the Tuscan Café at 987-2050.
