Tina Buck, the Key Bank branch manager, will serve as president of the Warwick Valley Rotary Club president in 2019-20. Buck will also chair two of Rotary’s major projects – the End of Summer Luau to be held on Sat., Sept. 14 at the Wickham Woodland Town Park and the Backpack Snack Attack’s portion of the Christmas Project for Needy Children on Sat., Dec. 14 at the Warwick Reformed Church.
After serving a year as president-elect, Buck was sworn in as president on Wed., Jun. 26 during the service organization’s 43rd annual installation ceremony held at the Chateau Hathorn. Rotary Assistant Governor Peter Sullivan, of Walden, NY, gave the oath of office to Buck and the new club officers and directors.
Edward Lynch, owner of Lynch Wealth Strategies, Inc., will take over as president-elect of the 60-member service organization. Auto dealer Leo R. Kaytes will serve as vice president. Additional officers for 2019-20 include: Laura Barca, recording secretary; Patti Lurye-Dempster, corresponding secretary; Ashish Anand, treasurer; Leo R. Kaytes, assistant treasurer; and Ed Wiley, past president.
Elected to the Board of Directors were Stan Martin and Laurene Iammatteo, club service co-chairs; Neil Sinclair, community service; Jan Brunkhorst and Ryan O’Leary, vocational service; and John Mickowski, international service. All terms are for one year.
