The Warwick Fire Department (WFD) reports that for the year to day they have responded to 338 calls for service.
As summer winds down and cooler weather is upon us, be sure to continuously check smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Also homeowners and landlords are encouraged to have residential boilers or home heating systems, including chimneys, scheduled for cleaning to ensure systems are in working order.
Emergency Service Agencies ask that all houses have house numbers easily visible on mailboxes or the front of houses so that responders can locate the home in case of an emergency.
