Pull Over for Emergency Vehicles
Please watch for first responders utilizing personal vehicles responding to emergencies. Every second counts in an emergency and our first responders need your help. When you see a blue light for a firefighter or a green light for emergency medical personnel, they are courtesy lights so we are asking for courtesy to safely pull off to the shoulder of the road to let them pass.
Fall Safety Reminders
We hope all of our residents have enjoyed the summer and as summer winds down with cooler weather, please be sure to continuously check your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. We encourage homeowners and landlords to schedule to have residential boilers or home heating systems, including chimneys, cleaned to ensure systems are in working order. We also ask to assist Emergency Service Agencies by having house numbers easily visible at the mailbox or on the front of the residence for responders to locate the home in case of an emergency. We ask drivers to have your vehicles scheduled for maintenance to get ready for the cooler months ahead to ensure safe travels on our roadways.
