Taina Gamory signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Hartford in Connecticut. The Warwick Valley H.S. senior lacrosse player received a partial athletic scholarship to cover the percentage of cost of tuition, room and board valued at $55,370.
She will compete as a midfielder for the Division I girls’ lacrosse team of the America East Conference (AEC). As a member of the Warwick H.S. lacrosse team, she was an All-Division Lacrosse Selection 2018 (as a midfielder) and named MVP for the 2018 season. She’s an NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete, a member of the Sports Medicine Club and the Math team. She plans to study nursing in college.
Taina is the daughter of Mary and Tim Gamory, of Warwick. She has two sisters – Mayte, a student at the College of New Jersey, and Gaby, a student at Hartford.
