Warwick Valley High School is proud to recognize senior Zachary Ripp as this weeks’ Bill Garcia Agency Allstate Student–Athlete of the Week.
The senior two-sport standout is a midfielder for the Warwick lacrosse team and a two year starter at defensive back for the Warwick football team. The lacrosse team is currently, 7–2, coming off a big win over Suffern.
Zach maintains an overall grade point average of 96.8, which includes college courses in Calculus, Algebra and Trigonometry, and Advanced Placement courses in U.S. History, English and Government for college credit. Zach is a two year NYSPHSAA scholar–athlete for football and lacrosse maintaining a grade point average over 90 in season.
He chose University of Massachusetts at Amherst over Syracuse, U Conn and Ithaca, where he will study Sports Management and Analytics in the fall. Zach is the son of Jeannie and Daniel Ripp, of Warwick. His sisters’ Shannon and Danielle, are both alumni of Warwick H.S.
