Warwick Rotary to Donate Roses to Seniors

Local News News & Updates

Approximately 1,000 long-stemmed roses will be given to Warwick seniors and military veterans in April by members of the Warwick Valley Rotary Club. The tribute to the seniors as valued community citizens ties in with the Village of Warwick’s official flower, the rose.

Rotary Past President Stan Martin is coordinating the donations. Roses will be distributed to Liberty Green, Devon Woods, Mount Alverno Assisted Living Center, Schervier Pavilion, Burt Farms, Creekside Apartments, St. Anthony Community Hospital,  Warwick Meals on Wheels recipients, and Village Cove residents.

Order Roses for Family & Friends

Under the leadership of Rose Chair Joyce Perron, Warwick Rotarians also sell hundreds of roses to family, friends and business associates. The roses are available in red, yellow and two-toned for $25 per dozen and will be delivered on Tues., Apr. 21 (just in time for Administrative Professional Day). Roses can be ordered at www.warwickvalleyrotary.org or by calling Perron at 988-7685 by Fri., Apr. 10.
