After discussions with local restaurants and permission from the New York State Department of Transportation (DOT), the Village of Warwick announce that the expanded outdoor dining for local restaurants has been extended in accordance with the following schedule:
- A portion of Main St. (Welling Pl. to West St. intersection) will close Thursday through Saturday.
- Spring St. will close Fridays and Saturdays only.
- Railroad Ave. will NOT close
Street closures begin at 4 p.m., service begins at 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and the streets will reopen at 11 p.m. The Village has received permission from the NYS DOT to close Main Street/Rte. 94 through Aug. 29, however, the extended outdoor dining through the State Liquor Authority expires on Aug. 5 and will be pending an extension of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Executive Order.
The Village will inform restaurants and patrons of the final dates as they move forward. Come downtown for a wonderful and safe dining experience. Remember, masks and social distancing are mandatory.
