Democrats Endorse Three Candidates for Local Races

   The Warwick Town Democratic Committee announces its endorsement for three Warwick residents to run in the November election. The candidates are: Greg Galluccio and Steve Rubin for Town Council and Jennifer Echevarria for Town Justice. 

  Jennifer Echevarria is a long-time Warwick resident who has been in private practice since 2008 representing parties in immigration and employment discrimination cases. Fluent in Spanish, she is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut and is admitted to practice before the Southern District of New York and the United States Supreme Court. She has served on the Board of the Middletown YMCA and as Co-Chair of the Legislation, Immigration and Civil Rights Committees of the Women’s Bar Association of New York State. 

  Steve Rubin has been a musician and community activist for 48 years and a resident of Warwick since 2005. In 2010, he founded the Warwick Valley Jazz Festival, which became the Hudson Valley Jazz Festival. Rubin also has owned and operated his own business in residential lighting design. He brings experience in fundraising, grant writing, sales and marketing. He is an avid bike-rider an enjoys walking Warwick’s neighborhoods with his wife and dog. 

  Greg Galluccio spent a large part of his 35-year career developing energy efficient technologies such as LED lights and automated building controls. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in international business and holds several patents. Galluccio brings his technical and leadership skills, his experience working with diverse, multi-cultural teams, and his commitment to the preservation of the environment. He and his wife moved to Warwick in 2015 and are active with the Warwick Town Democratic Committee.
