G.L. Library Offers Special Programs in April

The Greenwood Lake Public Library is offering several programs via Zoom in April that are available to access from anywhere.

   For Adults: Chair Yoga with Sara is held via Zoom every Monday from 11a.m. to 12 noon.  On Thurs., Apr. 8 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. “Baseball in the American Culture” will be presented by Evan Weiner via Zoom. This is sure to appeal to all members of the family. 

On Sat., Apr. 17 from 1 to 2 p.m. “A Romping Stroll from Blues to Rock n Roll” will be presented by multi-talented Eric Lipper who will perform songs that span decades.   

   For Children & Young Adults: Art Classes with Patty Kaminski will be held on Wednesdays 7 from 5 to 6 p.m. via Zoom. Patty will instruct artists ages 10 and up in the use of various media to explore their skills.  

Music Play Patrol is an on-going program that offers musical stories, sing-alongs and creative movement for ages five and under.  New content is uploaded every Monday and Wednesday.  

A Special Earth Day Celebration for ages four to nine will be held on Sat., Apr. 24.  Talewise will present a virtual prerecorded program for young learners using interactive activities and storytelling to teach about ways to protect the Earth.  Link will be accessible all day for convenient viewing. 

Special Programs for Young Children: The ever-popular Virtual Story Time with Ms. Kristin will continue to stream via the link at www.gwllibrary.org. Registered children receive story-related craft packets.
