For the second consecutive year, the Warwick Girls Varsity Crew team has won the Orange/Ulster Cup Regatta, held at Rockland Lake State Park on Saturday, May 18th. The Girls Varsity boats dominated with a first place overall in the Girls 8 and the Girls Second 4. Completing the regatta with a second place in the Girls First 4 sealed the victory. These outstanding results gave the Warwick Girls the overall team win for the Orange/Ulster Cup. The Warwick Boys Varsity Crew also put in good rows, led by the first place Boys Varsity 4, followed by a second place in the Boys Varsity 8.
On Sunday, May 19th, Warwick Crew continued to do well at the Hudson Valley Rowing League Novice Championships. The Boys 4 rowed to victory, with the Girls 4 securing a strong third place. Warwick’s Mixed 8 also took first in an exhibition race.
