US Army veteran, Signal Corps Private First Class (PFC) Joe Scannello served his country from May 1953 to April 1955. This year for Memorial Day, the 20-year Warwick resident plans to enjoy a small family BBQ at his son Richard’s home in Pine Island.
Eugene Cleary was a retired NYC Fireman & past Commander of Warwick VFW Post 4662 who passed away on Memorial Day in 2019. With social distancing restrictions still in effect, Eugene’s friends paid tribute the good old-fashioned way with a beer & a toast in the cemetery.
