Warwick Historical Society Seeks Help from Community

Letters to the Editor News & Updates

Editor,

The Warwick Historical Society typically holds its biggest fundraiser of the year, the Party in the Park, in August. And while we have been forced to cancel this and many other fundraising events, our work in historic preservation has not been canceled.

Since we are unable to fundraise, we need the community’s help. By making a donation in place of a ticket purchase, an auction bid, sponsorship or journal ad, you will help us continue our mission, preserving and maintaining the history of the Town of Warwick for today’s and tomorrow’s generations, as we have for over 100 years.

Connections to our community give us a sense of place, of belonging. Maybe more than ever, we need these bonds as we rise up together. Warwick has always been resourceful, and by focusing on each other and looking homeward, we will survive this as well, stronger and more connected.

The Warwick Historical Society is a non-profit that has been in existence for over 100 years. Donations are needed to help us continue our work for everyone, to document today’s history, to care for the landmark buildings and grounds that help make Warwick what it is, and to bring local history to life.

If you are in a position to do so, please send your tax-deductible donation to the Warwick Historical Society, P.O. Box 353, Warwick, NY 10990, or contact us at 986-3236; any donation is greatly appreciated.
