Supervisor Sweeton: Congrats to Newly Elected Trustees

News & Updates

On Sat., Sept. 26, we will be holding an Open House for Warwick residents to visit the former Kutz Camp on Bowen Rd.  The Open House will be held from 12 noon to 4 p.m., and you will have an opportunity to wander the property in order to imagine the possibilities for our newest park.  There will be a suggestion box for you to leave your ideas and also a “new name” contest, so come on out and help determine the future of Warwick’s newest asset.

Congratulations to those recently elected in our three Villages and also to all those who ran.  Stepping up to serve your community in the current political atmosphere takes courage, and win or lose they all deserve our gratitude.  Now that these elections are over the hard task of governing in an age where local government is under assault takes courage, determination and common sense.  I wish everyone much success, as we are all in this together.

Fall is certainly upon us, and with it it brings many visitors, school buses, as well as our farmers racing to bring in the harvest.  Please be cautious as you travel our roads. Slow down, and remember that farm vehicles don’t turn as fast as a car when entering or leaving our many farm fields. Stay safe, and enjoy this most wonderful time of the year!
