Greenwood Lake Library Upcoming Programs

The Greenwood Lake Public Library, located at 79 Waterstone Rd., is offering the following programs this month:

  For Adults – “Chair Yoga with Sara” will be held via Zoom every Monday from 11a.m. to 12 noon. On Sat., Feb. 20, “Basic Genealogy” will be held from 1 to 2 p.m.  via Zoom.  

  For Children & Young Adults – On Sat., Feb. 27, Michael Schloegl will read his new book and show participants how to make their own Chris Mouse puppets during “Chris Mouse Quarantined.”  Kits are available for pickup prior to the program. This program is for ages four to nine and will be available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the Library’s website. 

     Special Programs for Young Children – The ever-popular Virtual Story Time with Ms. Kristin will continue to stream via the link at www.gwllibrary.org. Registered children receive story-related craft packets. Another program, “Music Play Patrol” offers entertaining musical adventures for young ones. 

To register for programs, call 477-8377. The Greenwood Lake Public Library is currently open to the public for browsing and computer use every day during specified hours by appointment only.
