As part of the 10th Annual FASNY Firemen’s Association of the State of NY RecruitNY Recruitment Drive, the Warwick Fire Department (WFD) will host an Open House Recruitment Drive on Sat., Apr. 24 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the WFD headquarters, located at 25 Church St. Ext. in Warwick.  The Warwick Fire Department will join other Volunteer Fire Departments throughout NYS at their respective firehouses for a unified recruitment drive.  Not only will RecruitNY be an opportunity to highlight the rewards and responsibilities that come with being a volunteer firefighter, it will also raise public awareness about the need for volunteers.

Throughout the day, the WFD will conduct tours of the fire station and firefighter apparatus will discuss the requirements to be a volunteer, as well as conduct demonstrations, answer questions, and let visitors know how to get involved in their community fire department.
