MONROE, NY – On May 12, 2025, in the United States District Court for the Southern District in White Plains, the jury unanimously found that the Town of Monroe was not liable for damages based upon a meritless lawsuit brought forth by 127 Lakes Rd LLC, Summer Crest LLC, 18 Sergio Lane LLC, Sergio Lane LLC, 9 Lake Region Blvd LLC, 111 Lake Region Blvd LLC, and Pamela Lee which sought $7 Million in damages related to Town Local Law #3. The plaintiffs’ property manager, Timothy J. Mitts, testified on behalf of the plaintiffs and in support of the plaintiffs’ claims for damages at trial. Town of Monroe Supervisor Anthony Cardone stated: “Thanks to a fair judge, astute jury, and the efforts of counsel Adam Rodd of Drake Loeb PLLC representing the Town in this case, justice has prevailed.”
