St. Anthony Community Hospital will be offering a walk-in clinic for first doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine on Fri., May 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Limited doses are available. The clinic is open to anyone ages 18 and over. Anyone who lives or works in New York State is welcome to attend. To truly defeat this virus as many people as possible should be vaccinated. You can arrange bus service to and from the hospital from anywhere in the Town by calling our Dial-A-Bus service at 986-2877, 24 hours in advance.

A Too Good to Toss event will be held on Sat., June 12 and Sun., June 13 at participating households throughout the Town and Village of Warwick. Too Good to Toss has been an annual non-profit volunteer-run event in Warwick since 2017 that aims to keep perfectly good items out of landfills. This year, due to the pandemic, there will be a modified swap event where up to 100 Warwick households will bring their items that are Too Good to Toss outside of their home for “shoppers” to take away.  While it won’t be held on the basketball court in Stanley-Deming Park as in the past years, the goods are still free!  If you have questions, please contact event organizers Elizabeth Knight-Moss at EknightMoss@gmail.com or by calling 845-544-1056, or you can contact Payton Swenson at PaytonSwen@gmail.com or by calling 917-361-6119.  Please put TGTT in your email subject line.

The next Household Hazardous Waste collection event is scheduled for Sat., June 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Port Jervis High School lower parking lot, located at 10 Rte. 209 in Port Jervis.  Please adhere to the following COVID-19 protocols:  Only one person per vehicle is recommended; show proof of ID through a closed window. If possible, leave containers in the back trunk or truck bed of your vehicle and be advised that containers will not be returned.  For questions, call (845)-291-3246.

In anticipation of opening the pools at the former Kutz Camp this summer the Town is seeking young men and women as certified lifeguards.  If interested please call 986-1120, ext. 241, to find out how to apply for this great summer employment opportunity.

The next regular meeting of the Town Board will be held on Thurs., May 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Warwick Town Hall, 132 Kings Hwy. in Warwick.  Meeting can be viewed live on the Town of Warwick YouTube channel.
