Hello Florida,
We got quite a snowstorm this week! I want to thank our DPW crew for working through the storm to stay on top of it and the herculean task of snow cleanup and removal afterwards. The snow removal on Main St. will occur in the evenings this week, I would like to remind everyone of no overnight parking on the streets so that the DPW can accomplish these tasks without obstacles. Our police also did a phenomenal job assisting those who were stranded due to the snow. Because of the weather event, the Village of Florida changed our garbage pickup day to Wednesday this week to allow snow removal to be top priority. I want to thank everyone for their cooperation and understanding.
