Luck of the Irish Comes to Village of Warwick

The Luck of the Irish came to the Village of Warwick as an impromptu St. Patrick’s Day parade made its way along Main St. from St. Anthony Community Hospital to the Railroad Green on Wed., Mar. 17.

Those who happened to be on Main St. were delighted by the sounds of the Pipes and Drums Band of the Orange County, NY Ancient Order of Hibernians (A.O.H.), also known as “The Ol’ Brigade,” which stopped in front of Yesterdays restaurant to play some favorite Irish songs.

The A.O.H. bagpipers wanted to do something inspirational for their favorite Leprechaun, John Christison, the owner of Yesterdays restaurant, for always spreading positivity and for all of the donations he made to the community and to the vaccination sites these past 12 months.

In addition to the “The Ol’ Brigade,” other participants included members of the Greenwood Lake Gaelic Cultural Society and the Ancient Order of Hibernians Joseph Duelk Jr. Division 1.
